Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in need of care and help them lead fulfilling lives.
Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes/residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, & hygiene care
- Personal hands-on care (incontinence care)
- Support individuals with physical disabilities
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred```
- Ability to work with individuals with physical disabilities and/or limitations
- Proficiency in heavy lifting when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals with disabilities
-Experience with specialty care such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, etc.
General Notes:
The Caregiver will be required to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their clients. There may be emergency situations where the Caregiver will have to react quickly with sound judgement.
