Duties
- Operate standard passenger car equipment safely to perform exterior washes, and hand drying cars
- Conduct thorough vehicle exterior washing, including drying of wheels and tires
- Apply safe work practices when handling cleaning equipment, chemicals, and heavy lifting tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility by performing janitorial duties and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained
- Assist with additional services like mowing the lawn, cleaning the wash and drying areas, shaveling the snow and putting down salt, cleaning outside of the car wash, and cleaning the bathrooms, office and other rooms inside of the car wash
Qualifications
- Experience operating standard passenger cars and familiarity with automatic car wash equipment, and drying cars
- Knowledge of safe work practices, proper use of cleaning equipment
- Prior auto wash facility experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or moving vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward clients and team members
- Basic understanding of vehicle exterior washing and drying
- Custodial or janitorial experience is a plus for maintaining a clean work environment
- Valid driving skills with a clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and drugs test
