Elite Boxing & Fitness is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused operations manager to lead day-to-day operations at our facility in Columbia, MD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences, and has a strong sales and growth mindset.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of Mindbody software, with the ability to manage scheduling, memberships, and reporting efficiently. While experience in boxing or combat sports is a plus, it is not required. What matters most is a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm for the fitness industry.
Responsibilities include overseeing front desk operations, driving membership sales and retention, supporting staff, and ensuring a high-energy, welcoming environment for all members. Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science, physical education, recreation or other health related field.
- Fitness management, customer service and program planning skills.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in related field or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Intermediate/Advanced Mindbody software experience.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to provide own transportation.
- Must be CPR/AED certified.
Preferred qualifications:
- Personal training certification.
- MS Word and Excel proficiency.
- Ability to run, maintain, and analyze financial and staff reporting to drive business decision-making.
Scheduling:
This is a full time year round position.
Daily schedule will vary based on facility hours of operation which will include a mix of days, evenings, and nights based on program, facility, and member needs.
There is an optional bonus based on employee & company performance.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
