Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician I to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair, mechanical knowledge, and customer service. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances including refrigerator ice makers, washers, dryers, dishwashers and ovens.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs and ensure appliances operate efficiently.
- Conduct field service visits to customers' homes for appliance installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the company vehicle used for deliveries and service calls.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical documentation.
- Must be willing to submit to an 8 panel drug screening
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC is advantageous & can result in higher pay scale.
- EPA Certification preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to perform assembly tasks related to appliance repairs.
- Electrical experience is beneficial for troubleshooting electrical components of appliances.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
