What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Elite AP?
Production Associate
Normal production hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime
Starting pay is $15.25 per hour
This is a manufacturing environment; it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
The primary duties of the production associate are (but not limited to) the following:
1. Learn the operation of the batch-off and all of its control systems.
2. Climb stairs as needed to run the batch-off.
3. Complete finished product label and attach to product as skids are completed.
4. Receive training and become qualified on the following positions: Mixer, Mill, Compounder and Lab.
5. Fill in on any other position as requested by management.
6. Participate in the continuous improvement process.
7. All other duties as assigned by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Associates are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the is usually moderate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; ability to use senses to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, loading or unloading such machinery. Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
