The Compounding Manufacturing Associate is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to approved formulas and production specifications. This position supports production schedules, maintains product quality, and ensures compliance with safety and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weigh and measure raw materials according to production formulas.
- Operate mixing, blending, and compounding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow batch records, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor product quality during the compounding process.
- Complete production documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed.
- Communicate equipment or quality issues to supervision promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and formulas.
- Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a repetitive basis and stand for extended periods.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Train and become qualified on Mixer, Mill, Batch-off and Lab.
Fill in on other positions as requested by management.
Operate forklift after receiving training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Associates are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the is usually moderate. Exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, or vibrations.
The manufacturing environment consists of a fast-paced production setting involving machinery operation, material handling, and teamwork to meet production goals. Employees may be required to stand for extended periods, lift materials, wear required PPE, and work in varying temperatures and noise levels while following established safety and quality procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; ability to use senses to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
