Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, assessing vehicle issues on-site.
- Perform basic repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and lockout services.
- Use hand tools and power tools to conduct minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
- Diagnose electrical or mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment like an ohmmeter.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed during roadside interventions to protect yourself and others.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and vehicle conditions.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and provide professional advice for ongoing vehicle maintenance.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Prior experience working in roadside assistance, automotive repair shop, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
