The Facilities/Maintenance Manager will manage cGMP facilities and support development and refinement of scopes for preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance activities onsite in Christiansburg, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) based on approved scopes.
- Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Support Terms & Conditions and assist Procurement with Master Service Agreement (MSA) process.
- Provide onboarding support for new vendors (badging, training, site access, etc.).
- Review and prioritize open Work Orders weekly in RAM and PlanOn.
- Support FM with WO assignments to in-house or contractor resources.
- Track progress, provide status updates, and escalate issues.
- Support accurate and complete WO closeout (verification, documentation, cost capture).
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and facility issues.
- Escort vendors/contractors on site as needed.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks on work performed by vendors and UT personnel.
- Help develop scopes, schedules, and resource plans for minor projects.
- Manage vendor coordination for small projects (SOWs, RFQs, execution oversight, closeout).
Requirements:
- 10 years of facility maintenance in a cGMP regulated environment experience preferred
- Experience with SOWs and RFQs
- Experience with documentation and troubleshooting equipment
