We are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector to join our team in Central Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects, contributing to our mission of excellence in engineering and consulting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Perform quality control assessments on materials and workmanship.
- Review blueprints and schematics to verify project specifications.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports on inspection results.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address any issues identified during inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site.
- Assist in the development of inspection plans and schedules.
- Provide recommendations for improvements based on inspection outcomes.
Qualifications * Proven experience as a Construction Inspector or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to construction inspections.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ICC certification) are a plus.
