Essential Job Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Complete light office work
- Supervise students at lunch and recess, with support from additional staff member
- Supervise afternoon student departures
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
- Understanding of elementary-aged children
- Ability to make decisions at the moment to ensure the safety of all students
- Ability to establish a supportive environment for all students
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members
- Ability to maintain confidential information regarding students and families
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand and work both indoors and outdoors for multiple hours
- Interest in and appreciation for elementary school students
Hours
10:45am-3:15pm (4.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday); months of September and October.
Compensation:

Qualifications
Experience working with children in active settings is a plus.
