Responsibilities
- Prioritize attending presentations, school orientation meetings, peer mentor training sessions, and professional development opportunities, as requested
- Create and deliver personal stories that highlight the mental health challenges faced by young people in school, along with the resources and supports that aided recovery
- Reflect on how aspects of identity—such as race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality—have influenced personal mental health experiences and recovery during high school
- Share stories with the intent to inspire hope, reduce stigma, and educate students about mental health challenges and the path to recovery
- Develop multiple versions of Comeback Stories tailored to specific student populations and demographics
- Requires a High school diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience with mental health
- Passion for youth mental health advocacy
