About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Clinical Nursing Director to lead our hospice care team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is a skilled nurse leader with a deep understanding of hospice care and a passion for providing comfort and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to the hospice nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local hospice regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance patient care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor patient care plans, ensuring they align with hospice philosophy and patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and therapists.
- Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and training programs for clinical personnel.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership, staff, patients, and families.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to EMR guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license; BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hospice or palliative care nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented office environment.
