Role Summary
We’re seeking a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage critical software, hardware, and network systems supporting advanced aerospace, defense, and energy technologies.
This role calls for a resourceful problem solver who can troubleshoot complex systems, ensure security and uptime, and collaborate cross-functionally to keep technology infrastructure running seamlessly. You’ll play a key part in building automation, supporting servers and applications, and helping modernize IT processes that power innovation across high-impact industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network systems
- Manage network servers, accounts, and technology tools
- Monitor performance and proactively maintain systems according to operational requirements
- Troubleshoot issues, outages, and user support requests with urgency and precision
- Implement and manage security protocols, access controls, and backup systems
- Upgrade systems with new releases, models, and configurations
- Automate key administrative processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload
- Build and maintain internal documentation, wikis, and IT policies
- Support server and application administration — from setup to backend maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Systems Engineer, or similar IT infrastructure role
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, Intune, and Defender
- Strong knowledge of databases, LAN/WAN networks, patch management, and system security
- Familiarity with operating systems across multiple platforms
- Experience automating processes or scripting tasks preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident)
