Outpatient Operating Room Charge RN - Orthopedics
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking an Outpatient Operating Room Charge RN to help lead our surgical team, specializing in orthopedic procedures such as:
- Total joint replacements
- Sports medicine surgeries
- Spine procedures
- Hand and upper extremity surgeries.
Charge Duties include:
- Manage OR operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
- Conduct performance evaluations, hiring, and corrective actions as needed.
- Support patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Interviewing and playing a role with hiring
- Disciplinary actions to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- RN license in GA, BSN highly preferred
- 3 years OR nursing experience, with 1–2 years in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgery workflows and patient safety protocols.
