The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an enthusiastic, part-time Intern to our Design Cuisine team in Arlington, VA. As a PT seasonal internship rotation designed to gain working knowledge and insight into Design Cuisine brands and hospitality services. Rotations will include sales & operations at Design Cuisine, logistics and inventory at DC Rental and venue management and operations at Union Station.
What you'll be doing:
- Gathering information via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Compiling contracts into accessible data, based on the team’s current strategies.
- Working alongside regional business development directors to review information and develop new business strategies.
- Participating in corporate calls to walk through stages of our sales cycle in order to develop knowledge about our business development processes, pipeline management, and proforma development
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Major or majoring in Business or related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience in a similar role
