The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a dietetic technician to our [Segment] team in [City]. As a dietetic technician, you will have the opportunity to provides allergen, food safety and wellness support on site by collaborating with operations leaders, corporate dietitians, and staff in the foodservice department to ensure menus and food service programs meet the requirements of contract or regulatory programs.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and design menus keeping in mind dietary restrictions
- Prepare meals, devise food programs; offer advice on good eating habits and meal planning; monitor, supervise and record the nutritional condition and requirements of the patients
- Evaluate menus and recipes; preserve records of the patients’ nutritional status and dietary progress; and help with research.
What we're looking for:
- 2 year Associate’s degree from a program backed by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
- Passed a national examination held by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to get the certificate of a Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR).
- 1 years' experience in food and nutrition sciences, medical terminology, food-service systems management and nutritional and management counseling.
