The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an energetic, motivated baker to our collegiate dining team in Fisherville, VA. As a baker, you will have the opportunity to prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods daily.
What you'll be doing:
- Following recipes to create quality baked goods.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the kitchen.
- Ordering ingredients and taking inventory regularly.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Ability to follow recipes and proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Experience using a variety of kitchen tools to produce various baked goods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management, including ordering.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience baking in a retail environment.
