Unarmed Security Officer – Weekend Position
E-Line Protection Services is seeking dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services in the Baltimore area.
This position is ideal for security professionals who are alert, reliable, comfortable working around large crowds, and able to maintain a professional presence in a fast-paced public environment.
Schedule
- Saturday and Sunday
- Approximately 8-10-hour shifts
- Daytime hours
- Weekend availability is required
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property
- Patrol assigned indoor and outdoor areas
- Monitor entrances, exits, vendors, customers, and common areas
- Assist with crowd management and maintaining an orderly environment
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
- Help prevent theft, disturbances, and unauthorized activity
- Respond professionally to incidents and contact supervisors or law enforcement when appropriate
- Complete accurate incident reports when required
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining security awareness
- Follow all E-Line Protection Services policies and post orders
Minimum Requirements
- Must possess a valid Maryland Security Guard Card clearance
- Must be legally eligible to work as an unarmed security guard in Maryland
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a professional appearance and attitude
- Must have strong communication and observation skills
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working around large crowds and in a busy public environment
- Must be available to work weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or public-safety experience
- Experience working security at retail locations, flea markets, special events, or other high-traffic environments
- Experience with crowd management and incident reporting
