Park Maintenance Worker

Join the team at Elijah Clark State Park, part of Georgia's award-winning State Parks system We're looking for a dependable and motivated individual to help keep our park safe, clean, and beautiful for the thousands of visitors who enjoy it each year.

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a visible difference in their community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine groundskeeping, landscaping, and facility maintenance to keep the park in top condition.
• Assist with larger projects, including plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work.
• Help maintain playgrounds, picnic areas, and public spaces to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Identify maintenance needs, assist with planning and scheduling, and help keep accurate records.
• Work cooperatively with staff to support daily operations, park improvements, and special events.
• Take on other duties as needed—every day brings something new at the park

Position Details:

• Part-time position, up to 29 hours per week.
• Work is primarily outdoors and may involve various weather conditions.
• Requires physical activity and safe use of tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment.
• Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining Georgia's natural and historic treasures.
