Elihu Institute is seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Neurologist to join our growing team in San Diego, California. This is a full-time opportunity for a fully trained neurologist who is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including neuropathic pain and related disorders.
The position is primarily in-person, with the flexibility to incorporate telemedicine visits or shifts based on clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, examinations, and consultations.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions, including neuropathic pain and related disorders.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, multidisciplinary patient care.
Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Participate in telemedicine services as needed based on patient and clinical requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
Fully trained in Neurology with the ability to independently evaluate and manage patients.
Experience or clinical interest in neuropathic pain, pain-related neurological disorders, or relevant subspecialty care is highly desirable.
Active California Medical License, or eligibility to obtain a California license prior to the start date.
Current and unrestricted ability to practice medicine in California.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working with EHR systems and telemedicine technology.
- Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
