Job Description:
The Clerical Support for Hospital Collections is responsible for providing support for ECI onsite hospital staff.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Primarily supports the inpatient collections operations including Carepricer system activities
- Answers inbound calls. Makes calls to patients, agencies, or others
- Data entry, indexing, scanning, faxing, coding reports

- Uses clear, simple language to ensure understanding in English and/or Spanish
- Complies with all state and federal laws regarding HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
- Able to remain focused and productive each day with minimum supervision
- Demonstrates respect for all individuals
- Adheres to ECI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- May be assigned other duties by management

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma / GED (or higher)
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Prior costumer service experience a plus
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work may include weekends. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Management will adjust schedule on case-by-case basis.
Work Environment
This job allows teleworking if conditions are met. Occasionally onsite work is required.
Physical and Work Requirements:
Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, long periods working at a computer.
