We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an agile product team responsible for building and enhancing modern, scalable applications. This is a hands-on engineering role with a 50/50 split between backend Java services and Angular-based front-end development.
You will work closely with product owners, squad leadership, UX, and fellow engineers to design, build, deploy, and support high-quality solutions that support critical business initiatives. In addition to technical delivery, this role plays a key part in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural and engineering best practices.
Please note: Candidates must be local to Westlake, TX, as both interview rounds and the role itself is 50% hybrid on site.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based RESTful middle-tier services using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Build and enhance Angular (TypeScript) user interfaces
- Define and implement application-level architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
- Deploy applications to cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments (e.g., Jenkins)
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team on backlog refinement, story execution, and sprint ceremonies
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and application performance tuning
- Ensure QA readiness, including unit testing and test automation practices
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
Experience Requirements:
- 10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Angular and TypeScript
- RESTful service design
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
- Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- SQL and relational databases
- Source control and pull request workflows (GitHub or similar)
- Experience leading or contributing to architecture and design decisions
- Experience working across multiple teams and mentoring engineers
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks
- Apache Camel experience is a plus but not required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- AWS certification (preferred).
