Our client seeks a Salesforce Architect / Senior Developer to lead hands-on development, architecture, and secure delivery in a federal environment. The role requires expert-level Salesforce engineering, OmniStudio, integrations, DevSecOps, and production support. The professional will design and ship scalable solutions, resolve platform issues, and guide standards while coding daily in Apex and LWC. Experience with federal security frameworks and CI/CD is important. AI and Salesforce Einstein capabilities are preferred.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
- Perform daily hands-on Salesforce development, configuration, debugging, and enhancement delivery.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, validation rules, triggers, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Build and enhance OmniStudio assets including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, workflows, automation, reporting, integrations, and UI/UX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, administrators, analysts, security, and integration teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical and integration documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
- Develop and support integrations with enterprise systems, with MuleSoft preferred.
- Lead solution architecture while contributing code, fixes, and deployments.
- Design for scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and usability.
- Define and uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Align solutions with federal security requirements including NIST, FISMA, and ATO controls.
- Implement secure development practices, role-based security, MFA-aware design, RBAC, and SSO.
- Conduct code reviews, vulnerability remediation, deployment readiness, and secure releases.
- Support CI/CD, version control, and Azure DevOps/Git-based deployments within an SDLC.
- Support Salesforce AI capabilities including Einstein, Agentforce, and intelligent automation where appropriate.
Experience Requirements
- 10 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- 3 years of architect experience.
- 3 years of strong OmniStudio experience across OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Proven experience as a hands-on architect or senior developer actively coding daily.
- Integration experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise middleware.
- Experience with Salesforce AI, Einstein, Agentforce, or AI-assisted workflow automation preferred.
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II required. Salesforce OmniStudio Developer strongly preferred. Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect required.
