React Native Developer

Our client is initiating a project to rebuild a mobile application from the ground up. The current app is written in native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) and the goal is to convert it into a React Native mobile application with minimal native code.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
As a React Mobile Engineer you will join a small team tasked with recreating the existing feature set in a new React Native codebase. Established coding patterns, best practices, tooling, frameworks, and reusable components are already in place from similar previous efforts. Using the existing codebase for reference, you will rebuild the same functionality in React Native. In addition to coding, you will be responsible for creating documentation, implementing observability, and adhering to established best practices and organizational standards.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in software development
• 3 years of experience in mobile development
• 2 years of hands-on experience with React Native
• Proven experience contributing to software project delivery
• Knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, and automated solutions testing
• Experience maintaining and debugging live applications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related - preferred not required

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
