Our client seeks a Quality Engineer to support a SaaS and cloud-first Workday Integration Team within Corporate Technology. The role focuses on testing web applications and REST APIs, applying QA engineering practices, creating and executing functional automation, tracking and triaging defects, and verifying production releases. The position supports and enhances enterprise HR technology platforms with emphasis on Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll and benefits systems. The engagement is a contract role.

Responsibilities
- Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assist in planning and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
- Execute post-installation testing and resolve problems.
- Work on complex assignments and multiple project phases.
- Perform independent technical and functional analysis across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Track defects and issues, participate in defect triage, and verify production deployments.
- Develop and execute test cases for positive and negative scenarios, including Workday integrations and REST APIs.
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer supporting complex technology solutions.
- Strong experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery.
- Understanding of enterprise platforms including Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll or benefits systems.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and influencing decisions across teams.
- Experience managing product backlogs using JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience leading refinement sessions and defining acceptance criteria.
- Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent.
Salary : $45 - $52
