Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java- and Python-based applications supporting internal and external platforms.
- Contribute to SaaS application support and enhancement, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and feature development.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint goals.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assist with production support and troubleshooting for enterprise systems.
- Engage in code reviews to improve code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and basic algorithms.
- Experience with REST APIs, application integrations, and backend development concepts.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies and team-based delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Experience supporting or developing SaaS platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with financial systems, data-driven applications, or regulated environments (preferred).
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (preferred).
- Experience working in a globally distributed or cross-functional team (preferred).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
