The analyst will collaborate with senior technical leaders to translate requirements into designs and deliver production-quality code with clear documentation.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:
- Produce user-friendly, reliable production code with clear documentation.
- Improve and maintain existing software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Participate in root cause analysis of system issues.
- Test code to validate user requirements, numerical accuracy, and performance stability.
- Apply development standards and architectures as defined by the Enterprise Architect, including Git, archiving processes, JIRA, and web technologies.
- Identify and recommend improvements to achieve best practices and high performance.
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager or Enterprise Architect to convert user requirements into design documents.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development using Angular and Node.js.
- Strong SQL skills for application development and data handling.
- Experience with Git and standard SDLC practices.
- Ability to work independently and deliver production-quality code.
- Proficiency with Linux environments.
- Familiarity with AI technologies.
- Experience with languages and tools such as SQL, Perl, C, JavaScript, and Spotfire.
