4 Day Hybrid in Fairfield, OH
Our client requires a hybrid support professional who will handle incident work, fulfill service requests, and provide hands-on technical support. The role includes configuring new equipment for break/fix devices and completing software setups. The position is hybrid with an expectation of approximately 80% of the work week in the office.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $20.00 to $25.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
- Provide incident management and resolution for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues
- Fulfill service requests, including user setup, access provisioning, and equipment deployment
- Perform hands-on technical support for end users in a timely and professional manner
- Configure and deploy new hardware and equipment, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and enterprise software applications
- Support software installations, upgrades, and patches across user environments
- Document issues, resolutions, and processes within the ticketing system
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Experience providing desktop support or IT help desk services in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with hardware setup, imaging, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
