AI / ML Engineer

Hybrid in Irvine, CA (2-3 days onsite per week)

The organization seeks an AI / ML Engineer to support implementation of priority AI use cases alongside principal AI engineers and semiconductor stakeholders. The role requires proficiency in Python and PyTorch, experience with agentic frameworks, and familiarity with Azure and enterprise AI pipelines. The engineer will translate AI concepts for technical semiconductor audiences and contribute to model development and deployment.

Rate: $85.00 to $100.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and execution of priority AI use cases in collaboration with principal AI engineers.
• Develop and refine models using Python and PyTorch, with potential transfer from TensorFlow as needed.
• Build and integrate agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or comparable tools.
• Contribute to enterprise-scale AI pipelines within Azure environments.
• Translate AI concepts and solution approaches to technical semiconductor engineering stakeholders.
• Ramp quickly on semiconductor domain context to align AI solutions with stakeholder needs.

Experience Requirements

• Strong AI/ML development background with hands-on experience in modern AI stacks.
• Deep proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with Azure environments and enterprise-scale AI pipelines.
• Ability to translate AI concepts to highly technical semiconductor stakeholders.
• Semiconductor domain experience (preferred).

Education Requirements

• Strong mathematical foundation in calculus and differential equations.
• Backgrounds in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or engineering with AI focus (preferred).
