Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to serve as the primary day-to-day practitioner embedded at Client’s Atlanta headquarters. This onsite (3 days a week) role is central to the execution of Client’s Phase II Agile Maturity Rollout — a multi-workstream initiative spanning multiple business units, plus a Train the Trainer program to build lasting internal capability.
The Agile Coach will operate at the team level and the program-level dynamics, facilitating ceremonies, delivering training, conducting maturity assessments, and coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Executives, and delivery teams toward measurable improvements in value delivery and agile maturity.
$95 - $100 per hour W2.
3 days onsite required in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities
- Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional delivery teams across multiple business unit workstreams simultaneously.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives and drive continuous improvement cadences.
- Support program-level coordination where workstreams intersect using SAFe constructs such as PI Planning and ART synchronization.
- Guide the Fuel/Gulf workstream through a structured 30/60/90-day Agile Onboarding Program with inspect-and-adapt checkpoints.
- Support the stand-up of an Agile Release Train aligned to a Portfolio SAFe configuration.
- Deliver role-specific SAFe training including SAFe for Teams, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Lean Portfolio Management.
- Help establish portfolio governance and Lean Portfolio Management practices.
- Administer and facilitate AgilityInsights maturity assessments across business unit workstreams.
- Track and report maturity progression and synthesize results into actionable coaching plans.
- Facilitate OKR development at Enterprise, Portfolio, and Agile Tactical layers and connect strategy to delivery.
- Lead Value Stream Mapping sessions and provide prioritized improvement recommendations.
- Conduct Team Structure Workshops and Role Assessments across PO, BA, Dev, QA, and Delivery Manager functions.
- Design and deliver tailored Agile training curricula and build internal coaching capability through Train the Trainer.
- Develop structured onboarding materials for internal practitioners.
- Contribute to monthly progress reports and executive updates and maintain the living Implementation Plan.
- Proactively flag impediments, risks, and escalation needs to engagement leadership.
- Apply AI tools to accelerate training materials, summaries, status reports, and coaching artifacts and guide teams on AI usage in delivery workflows.
- Proven team-level Agile coaching experience with exposure to program-level or scaled agile environments.
- Current SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC 6) certification with experience delivering SAFe training, ART stand-up, and PI Planning.
- Experience with AgilityInsights or comparable maturity assessment platforms and the ability to translate results into coaching priorities.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps including boards, backlogs, sprint tracking, reporting, and SAFe-aligned best practices.
- Proficiency with collaboration platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, and Miro.
- Strong facilitation skills for ceremonies and workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience developing OKRs and connecting strategic objectives to team delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to synthesize complex information for executives.
- Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA three days per week.
- Preferred experience in multi-workstream or enterprise agile transformations.
- Background in Value Stream Mapping and Lean practices.
- Experience building or delivering Train the Trainer programs.
- Exposure to retail, fuel or convenience, or consumer-facing industries.
- AI fluency with practical application to agile practices including backlog refinement, dependency mapping, and sprint planning.
- Core competencies including servant leadership, adaptive coaching, pattern recognition, comfort with ambiguity, stakeholder influence without authority, and a data-driven mindset.
