Eli’s Drivers complete the final step in our catering process by taking the meals from our stores and bringing the Eli’s experience to the guest. Drivers are expected to be enthusiastic and professional representative of the brand off site. Back on site they will stock and prep for deliveries as well as work with the kitchen to execute the catering orders.
Essential Functions
- Arrange and set-up trays, utensils, and setups off-site upon delivery of catering food to guests
- Work with guests upon arrival, adapting to changing needs and situations off-site
- Communicate effectively with the corporate office concerning any delivery issues especially as they pertain to timeliness of delivery and traffic
- Safely and effectively transport food from our stores to the guests
- Interact with management and kitchen staff to successfully package food and leave on time
- Stock/restock supplies and food items for catering purposes; clean bags used for catering
- Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment

- Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs
- Greet guests with a warm, sincere smile
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Has a reliable vehicle for transportation - SUV preferable but no required
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Safe driving with a strong and safe driving record with the ability to drive, on occasion, over an hour each way
- Get along well with others and be a team player
- Other duties will be assigned as needed
Physical Demands
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting 50 pounds, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
