Position Brand Description
A seasoned maintenance leader with comprehensive responsibility for administrative and supervisory functions, including coaching, performance reviews, staff development, resourcing, and succession planning. Serves as a subject matter expert in maintenance practices, CMMS systems, SOPs, and training processes. Accountable for the performance and deliverables of the Facilities/Utilities Maintenance Group, with oversight of key business process improvements and training program implementation. Demonstrates strong project management capabilities in maintenance training initiatives and ensures full compliance with safety procedures, ALCOA principles, and HSE goals. Acts as a delegate for the Maintenance Associate Director when needed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$99,000 - $145,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Key Objectives / Deliverables
- Satisfy all administrative and supervisory requirements, including coaching, performance reviews, development, learning plans, resourcing, and succession planning for assigned direct reports.
- Promote development through support, coaching, and opportunities.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on maintenance practices, CMMS system, and Maintenance SOPs.
- Document, measure, and improve effectiveness and efficiency of key maintenance business processes.
- Oversight of, and accountable for the overall deliverables of the Facilities/Utilities Maintenance Group.
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the maintenance training program.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on maintenance training processes.
- Perform project management for maintenance training initiatives.
- Safety - Ensures that all work unit members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits and practices. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, and is accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals Initiates.
- Leads accident, near miss reviews and incident notifications.
- Ensure proper housekeeping procedures are maintained.
- Build and drive safety and quality culture within the organization
- Responsible for ensuring ALCOA principles are followed.
- Act as delegate for Facilities/Maintenance Associate Director as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Previous technical support experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Maintenance or Engineering.
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.
- Expereince in Pharmaceutical Industry prefered
