Duties
- Assemble and install grain bins and handling equipment using mechanical knowledge and specialized tools, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and secured.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, Telehandler, and other machinery safely to move materials and position large mechanical sections.
- Conduct inspections during assembly to verify structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while following all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety checks completed throughout each project.
- Support maintenance activities on existing grain storage facilities.
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, Telehandler, or tanker trucks is highly desirable.
- Experience in agriculture, farming, or food processing industries is a strong plus.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles is a benefit but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working with manufacturing tools, assembly processes, or in a construction setting will help you succeed.
