2026-2027 Math Specialist Teacher K-12

Position: Math Specialist Teacher K-12 Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree- While a degree in mathematics or math education is preferred, a degree in another field is acceptable if accompanied by required math content credits. Proper Certification/Licensure Previous Tutoring or Classroom Experience BCI/FBI Clearance Essential Functions: Provide targeted small-group and individualized math instruction to support students performing below grade level across K-12. Analyze screening and progress-monitoring data to develop, implement, and adjust math intervention and monitoring plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and reinforce core math concepts. Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions with an MTSS framework to accelerate student achievement. Monitor and document student growth, communicating progress with teachers, families, and support teams.
