Work Schedule

Job Summary
Adjunct teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Journeyman (or similar) status with 4,000 hours of documented work experience.
Knowledge of PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical for industrial applications.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge and skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical operation, process and control systems including both building electrical and machine electrical panels.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Associate’s Degree in related subject with 4,000 documented work experience or, Bachelor’s Degree in related subject with 2,000 documented work experience.

Essential Duties
Deliver Instruction
- Conduct assigned classes and/or labs
- Prepare lessons
- Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information)
- Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
- Prepare labs
- Enforce lab safety procedures
- Keep accurate record of student performance
- Provide students with timely feedback
- Maintain office hours and voice-mail/e-mail communication
- Refer students to student support services
- Accommodate special needs students
