Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Workday Reporting Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a Jira backlog of reports.
• Support Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence initiatives with a strong product mindset.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Collaborate in real time with business leaders and subject matter experts to gather and clarify requirements.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions using techniques such as wireframing, card sorting, and design thinking.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable deliverables for development teams.
• Support Agile delivery by ensuring requirements are well-defined and prioritized.
• Design and deliver interactive, user-centric reporting solutions using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Contribute to shaping and improving the user experience of reports and dashboards.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Apply strong analytical and visual thinking skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building Workday Reports.
• The ability to create a solution that people want instead of what is being asked for.
• The ability to represent the needs of multiple clients in one solution.
• Ability to visually represent a conversation in real time.
• Ability to create a wireframe to firm's new business requirements.
• Ability to create a vision around a solution and communicate it from the perspective of the customer.
• Extensive experience in software development, preferably within the financial services industry, particularly the investment management industry.
• Know the difference between a wireframe and a design; can wireframe an idea or concept during a conversation, that is either in person or virtual.
• Strong Data Visualization skills, experience with MS Fabric preferred.
• Business Intelligence experience, Power BI preferred.
• Strong interest in AI and how we can incorporate it into our solutions.
• Track record in business analysis and process improvement.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
• Experience working with large sets of data.
• Experience in the financial or investment industry is a plus.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00/hr
