Eleven Recruiting is hiring an IT Financial Analyst for one of our largest professional services clients, sitting onsite in Carrollton, TX.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data Analytics, and IT Operations, supporting financial visibility across infrastructure, cloud spend, and project-based initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance or accounting, paired with experience working with data, reporting tools, and financial models.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance IT chargeback and cost allocation models, including infrastructure and cloud-related expenses.
- Track and analyze budget vs. actuals across IT projects, ensuring alignment to financial forecasts.
- Support monthly financial close activities, including variance analysis, reconciliation, and alignment to P&L and General Ledger.
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and improve reporting logic.
- Provide visibility into project-level costs, including tracking spend against development efforts and operational initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and executive summaries for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with large datasets from internal systems and cloud providers to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and support the automation and scalability of financial reporting models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Accounting or
- Data Analytics / Business Intelligence supporting finance functions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced modeling and data analysis (Excel assessment required).
- Solid understanding of:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Expense allocation and cost modeling
- Financial statements (P&L, General Ledger)
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx).
- Familiarity with IT financial operations, including cloud cost tracking or infrastructure spend.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or mortgage environments (e.g., JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo).
- Exposure to project-based environments and Agile or development cost tracking.
