Role Description The Fulfillment Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Napa, CA, responsible for supporting daily order fulfillment and warehouse operations. This role includes carefully packing and preparing wine shipments, ensuring orders are accurate, secure, and compliant with shipping regulations. The Fulfillment Specialist updates inventory records, assists with inventory counts, and helps maintain an organized storage area. The role also supports customer service, wine club pick up packing and sales by coordinating order pickups, responding to basic inquiries about orders, and collaborating with hospitality and tasting room teams to meet guest needs. This position requires consistent attention to detail, safe handling of products, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in packing and order preparation to ensure accurate, secure, and timely shipments.
- Customer service experience, with the ability to communicate clearly, address inquiries, and support a positive guest experience.
- Inventory management and inventory control skills, including tracking stock, performing counts, and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Sales support skills, such as assisting with order processing, coordinating pickups, and collaborating with tasting room and hospitality teams.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving cases of wine, standing for extended periods, and working safely in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with basic computer systems or point-of-sale and shipping software; experience with winery or retail operations is a plus.
- Availability to work part-time, including weekends, holidays, or peak seasons as needed; prior fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse experience is beneficial.
Communicates professionally and proactively
- Has experience with Commerce7 (preferred), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and is comfortable working on their feet
- Holds a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
