What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOUNDING STUDIO ASSISTANT — Brand, Styling & Creative Operations position at ELEVEN BLUEPRINT?
Brand, Styling & Creative Operations
I am opening a personal styling and creative direction studio in Miami, serving private and corporate clients. It is being built from zero — the space, the visual identity, the portfolio, the first clients.
I am looking for one person to build it with me from day one. Not an assistant in the traditional sense: a founding role in a small studio with high standards. The work is broad, the exposure total, the responsibility real.
Phase one — before we open
The space. Researching showrooms, attending viewings on my behalf, sending detailed video and photo reports with your own read on each one.
Visual identity. Building the studio's references, moodboards and tone alongside me.
Social media. Content planning, production, scheduling, community management.
The portfolio. Building our first book to my creative direction — organising shoots, sourcing, coordinating, assembling.
Phase two — once we're live
Client acquisition. Outreach, follow-up, pipeline, converting enquiries into consultations.
Ongoing portfolio and case studies.
Private client styling. Event styling, wardrobe editing, personal shopping, tailoring, returns and logistics.
Corporate creative direction. Styling, moodboards, concept development, on-set support.
Half of this role is creative. The other half is logistics — driving across Miami, carrying garments, managing returns, waiting at a tailor. Both halves are done to the same standard.
Who this is for
Miami-based, with a licence and a car · fluent English, Spanish a strong advantage · comfortable in Canva or Adobe, Instagram-native, capable with short-form video · organised · discreet by nature, since you will see clients' homes, wardrobes and insecurities · autonomous — I give direction, not supervision.
Terms
$3,000 per month to start, reviewed and adjusted at three months based on scope and performance.
How to apply
1. Build three looks. The client: a 38-year-old founder relocating to Miami, raising a round and speaking publicly for the first time. She wants to look expensive without looking loud, and she cares where things are made. Budget isn't the constraint — her time and her credibility are.
Build her an investor meeting, a keynote on stage, and an evening dinner with press present. One board per look, PDF or images, every piece named with brand and approximate price, a line or two on the thinking.
2. Five emerging brands you believe belong in my clients' wardrobes that most Miami stylists aren't using yet. One sentence each. Your reasoning interests me far more than the names.
3. Five places you'd pull from for a celebrity or editorial pull in Miami — showrooms, boutiques, PR houses, brand contacts. Tell me which you already have a relationship with and which you'd approach cold.
Task one is taste. Task two is how you see the market. Task three is resourcefulness and honesty. None is a test of how many names you can produce.
Send to contact@elevenblueprint.com, subject line Application — Your Name: the three tasks, a short note on why this and why now, your CV or LinkedIn, and anything you've made that you're proud of.
