Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
- Conduct welding tasks as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Utilize electrical knowledge to maintain and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Manage maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Engage in residential painting projects when required, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing any facility-related concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience in welding techniques for metal fabrication or repair work.
- Background in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience within manufacturing environments is a plus.
