Receptionist for Recreational/Medicinal Dispensary

• We are an established and expanding Recreational Dispensary and Grow seeking welcoming, energetic, professional, reliableFront Desk Receptionist. The hours are 1:15-9:15 with Tuesday and Wednesday off, Prior experience in regulated cannabis retail a MUST.This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer and patient experience by creating a positive, professional, and compliant first impression.

As the first point of contact for our organization, this individual must demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a knowledgeable, efficient, and compliant experience for all customers and medical patients while strictly adhering to Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado MED Support/Employee Badge.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated understanding of Colorado MED laws, compliance procedures, and METRC trackingrequired.
• Experience with POS systems, customer intake software, and compliance documentation systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and procedural discipline.
• Strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to remain calm and compliant in high-volume, high-accountability environments.Professional Expectations

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers and patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Verify identification and medical documentation in compliance with MED regulations
• Manage patient intake and check-in procedures
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all state and company policies and procedures
• Support daily front desk and dispensary operations
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service at all times

• Ability to stand and/or walk continuously for the duration of an 8-hour shift, with standard meal and rest breaks as required by Colorado law.

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead to stock, organize, and retrieve product and supplies.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, including handling small items, operating a point-of-sale system, and using a computer keyboard/mouse for extended periods.
• Visual acuity sufficient to verify identification documents, read product labeling, and operate security/surveillance systems.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to cannabis plant material and associated odors.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to handle currency, packaging materials, and product safely and accurately.
• Ability to respond quickly to security or emergency situations, including reaching alarm systems or exits as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed primarily indoors in a retail dispensary setting, with regular exposure to cannabis products and odor.
• Noise level is typically moderate, consistent with a retail environment.
• Security cameras and monitoring are present throughout the facility, consistent with MED security requirements.
• Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
