About The Role
ElevationHR is seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Architect (GCP) to support a large, regulated enterprise organization operating a mission-critical data marketplace and analytics platform.
This role blends hands-on DevOps engineering with solution architecture ownership and is designed for a senior-level consultant who can design, build, deploy, and operate cloud-native platforms with minimal ramp-up.
This is a delivery-first role not advisory, presales, or theoretical architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Solution Architecture
- Deliver high-level and detailed architecture diagrams for backend services and GCP infrastructure
- Define integration specifications for ML workflows, data pipelines, and third-party systems
- Conduct architecture reviews focused on scalability, security, reliability, and performance
- Partner with Product, Data, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment
DevOps & Platform Engineering
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and ML components
- Deliver Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for GCP resource provisioning (Terraform preferred)
- Establish and monitor observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerting)
- Support production deployments and platform stability
- Provide monthly uptime, availability, and reliability reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture within enterprise environments
- Strong, hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including architecture, deployment, and operational support
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and ML components
- Demonstrated expertise delivering Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tooling in production
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics systems, or ML workflows in regulated or high-availability environments
- Solid understanding of cloud security, scalability, reliability, and performance best practices
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp-up and minimal oversight
