Position Overview:
As an Optician at Elevation Vision, you’ll be a key player in helping our patients see clearly and look their best! You will have the opportunity to work closely with both customers and our healthcare professionals, ensuring that each patient leaves with the perfect eyewear for their needs and style. We have a small team and work together to answer the phone and pull benefits ahead of time for the following day. We are seeking a motivated, bubbly individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service with a smile.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Taking accurate measurements of customers' eyes
- Interpreting prescriptions written by optometrists
- Educating customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Processing orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintaining inventory of eyewear and contact lenses
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer concern
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an optician required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of math for for sales transactions
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:45 AM - 6:30 PM
- In June 2026 hours will change to: Mon, Wed, Thurs 8:45-6, Tues 9:45-6:30 and Fri 8-12

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
