Beverage Cart Attendant Job Description
Job Purpose: To sell/serve food and drinks and to accommodate club member and guests’ needs in a courteous and timely manner on the golf course.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet club members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Safely operate a golf cart, maintaining situational awareness of surroundings to safely navigate around golfers at play
- Take and deliver orders in an accurate, quiet, and efficient manner with minimal distraction to players
- Accurately records all sales via the point-of-sale system
- Opens tickets under correct club member/account number or makes correct change and/or completes proper charge card procedure for members paying on the course
- Complete assigned opening and closing sidework, including but not limited to stocking and maintaining cleanliness of cart
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to:
- Completion of ServSafe® training and Ward County food safety certification
- Enforcement of alcohol responsibility policy
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must hold a valid US driver’s license
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length
- Ability to frequently bend and kneel with a good sense of balance
- Ability to lift and transport items up to 25 pounds frequently throughout shift
- Ability to work outdoors for entire shift in a multitude of weather conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour
