The agency prioritizes strategy and data (mixed with the right dose of creativity and technology) identifying key marketing touch points that align with ideal buyers to drive customers and prospects towards critical business actions. We are looking for a sr. account executive.
In Office Culture
At Elevation, we enjoy being in office together and we are passionate about culture, collaboration, learning and the community that it creates, and we are looking for employees who value this as well. We were meant to work together, not alone! All our roles are full-time on-site roles, with two work-from-home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it comes to life emergencies that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years. We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM.
Role Summary
The Account Manager owns some client relationships end-to-end and is responsible for delivery, performance, and growth of those accounts. This role serves as the primary day-to-day client lead and is accountable for providing high quality marketing solutions while expanding accounts through proactive relationship development, strategic thinking, and execution excellence. The Account Manager is where marketing execution transitions turn into true business impact. This role is expected to not only manage great marketing work, but to actively grow accounts by identifying opportunities, building relationships across the client organization, and converting those opportunities into measurable revenue. This role makes an impact on a client’s marketing results and drives client marketing ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages (point person) with limited supervision 3–4 accounts
- Supports additional accounts as directed by the account director (team leader) inside a team of 3 individuals.
- Translates high-level marketing strategy into actionable marketing programs and campaigns
- Leads all aspects of account and marketing execution across strategy, creative, digital/paid media, production/development
- Serves as the primary client contact, managing day-to-day client communication, expectations and delivery quality
- Manages scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across accounts
- Drives account growth (10–20%) through expansion of services and initiatives
- Able and willing to execute all duties and responsibilities for both account coordinator and the account executive roles as needed plus the Account Manager role.
- Manages and supports Account Executives and Coordinators assigned to accounts
- Ensures internal teams are aligned on priorities, deliverables, and client expectations
- Provides clear direction and feedback to team members
- Maintains accountability across all workstreams
- Resolves issues before they escalate to leadership
- Maintains control over scope, timeline, and budget
- Builds strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders
- Maintains regular communication and alignment with clients
- Demonstrates deep understanding of client business, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Positions Elevation as a strategic partner, not just a service provider
- Attempts to drive adoption of Elevation’s full suite of services within accounts
- Account Penetration Planning & Execution
- Initiates and leads growth and expansion conversations with clients
- Builds and presents strategic recommendations tied directly to business outcomes
- Maintains a clear and active pipeline of growth opportunities within each account
- Converts identified opportunities into approved scopes of work, incremental revenue, and long-term engagement
- Owns development, maintenance, and execution of account penetration plans
- Expands accounts through new relationships, new services, and new initiatives
Experience & Skill Sets
- 5–8 years’ experience in a marketing (preferred B2B) agency or related environment
- Has managed 20–50 cumulative direct client relationships across a variety of industries or verticals
- Has led 15–25 full marketing programs, campaigns, or account strategies from planning through execution at the six and seven figure level.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of client business models, industry dynamics, and integrated marketing execution
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple client accounts, build and maintain strong client relationships, identify and convert growth opportunities, plus lead cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and scope
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to Influence clients, present recommendations and drive decision-making
- Experience building and managing integrated marketing plans that align client objectives with agency capabilities and execution resources.
- Experience creating and executing the fundamentals of branding, messaging, value proposition development, and customer segmentation.
- Experience recommending channel activation strategies utilizing content marketing, email marketing, etc,
- Experience developing of annual marketing plans and campaign roadmaps.

Compensation & Benefits
Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. Salary range for this job is targeted at $70,000-$87,500 based on experience, skill set and agency experience. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off the Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Our business is all about collaboration, so we do not offer telecommuting currently, but we do offer flex hours depending on the position and clients. Employees can start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM based on client demands and department structure. Elevation pays for 95% of employee’s life, health and long-term disability insurance. Elevation offers vision, dental and a variety of other benefits that an employee can purchase. The kitchen area is full of free snacks and beverages. Tuition reimbursement is available.
Salary : $70,000 - $87,500
