What You’ll Do
- Lead the technical and strategic delivery of complex H&H engineering projects
- Build strong client and team relationships with a commitment to communication and collaboration
- Assist Client Managers in the procurement of new work with innovative and creative solutions
- Manage feasibility studies, flood control, drainage impact analyses, and conveyance designs
- Champion the full project lifecycle—from concept through construction
- Oversee advanced modeling, including 1D/2D coupled systems, using tools such as:
- HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS
- EPA SWMM, XP/PC SWMM
- KYPIPE, ArcGIS
- Provide project oversight, ensure quality deliverables, and monitor client satisfaction
- Mentor and support the growth of graduate and professional engineers
- Guide the technical review and sub-consultant coordination processes
- Interface with local agencies and stay up to date on regional drainage criteria

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 6 years of H&H or Drainage Engineering experience
- Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Strong technical foundation and comfort with advanced modeling software
- Effective communicator with natural client-facing and team-building skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with project management and familiarity with design tools and software
