This is a full-time management position requiring flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed to support hotel operations.
Responsibilities
As Front Desk Manager, you will:
- Oversee the daily operation of the front desk
- Lead, train, coach, and support front desk team members
- Recruit and onboard new front desk associates
- Prepare staff schedules based on business needs
- Assist with breakfast operation oversight and scheduling
- Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality
- Resolve guest concerns and billing issues professionally and efficiently
- Ensure accurate cash handling and front office reporting
- Cover call-outs and provide on-call management support when needed
- Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience required
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable resolving guest concerns with professionalism
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
