Role Description The Quality Assurance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in East Tennessee, TN. This role is responsible for monitoring production processes to ensure products meet established quality and safety standards, performing routine inspections, and documenting results. Daily tasks include conducting quality checks on raw materials and finished products, verifying adherence to procedures, and supporting corrective actions when deviations occur. The technician collaborates with production and operations teams to implement quality initiatives, maintains accurate records for audits, and helps ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor, test, and verify product and process standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing and Quality Management to support internal audits, continuous improvement, and compliance with company policies.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment and food safety is a must.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow standardized procedures and documentation requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional production teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or an associate degree in a related field is a plus.
