This role is at a beautiful corporate fitness center with a great group fitness studio!

Your Role:

Responsible for participating in and overseeing all daily program operations in order to ensure optimal performance of the Fitness Center and programs. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards. Provides safe, motivating, and effective exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Customer service focused presence to welcome residents/guests and ensure proper facility check-in for residents and guests

• Customer service focused Fitness Floor supervision, including enforcement of safety policies

• Assist with day to day operations of the Fitness & Aquatics Center

• Enforcement of policies/protocols for Fitness & Aquatics Center as determined by client

• Technology: assist residents with setting up Elevation Portal profile, download app, navigation of profile dashboard and utilization of registration, POS and check-in features

• Utilize Google Drive in accordance with policies and procedures to perform administrative tasks

• Assist with quarterly/yearly programming calendar including: incentive and health and wellness initiatives

• Assist in planning and facilitate Fitness and Lifestyle team collaborative event

• Write monthly articles on fitness, wellness and health promotion topics

• Group exercise class instruction (virtual/in-person), up to 5 classes per week

• Routinely reviews and analyzes pool chemistry and communicates with Patriot regarding pool chemistry treatments and preventative maintenance.

• Equipment cleaning

• Lifeguard duties as needed

• Pool Operations as needed

• Attend staff meetings

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Emergency protocols

What we are looking for:

• Certifications:

  • At least 1 year experience teaching group exercise classes or interest in learning

  • At least 1 year personal training experience preferred

  • National group exercise certification preferred

  • National personal training certification required

  • Must pass Elevation’s personal training certification

  • Must have current CPR/AED certification

  • Lifeguard certification required (or must be able to obtain within 6 months of employment start)

  • Pool Operators certification required (must be able to obtain within 6 months of employment start)

• Experience:

  • Previous experience in personal training and teaching group exercise preferred

  • Life & Nutrition coaching experience a plus

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, Google Suite, and Canva
