What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Guest Experience Support Director position at Elevation Church?

RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication & Department Operations
- Schedule department meetings, capture detailed notes, and distribute summaries and recordings.
- Manage the Guest Experience calendar and Master Documents.
- Ensure alignment across all Guest Experience operational touchpoints.
- Manage tracking systems for key GE initiatives (eTeam Connect, Baptisms, Block Party).
- Oversee Guest Experience communication channels (email lists, Slack, text threads, Hub access).
Onboarding & Training
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation for new GE Directors.
- Schedule and coordinate onboarding sessions.
- Facilitate monthly hands-on GE training.
- Continually refine training resources to ensure consistency across campuses.
Director Support
- Provide consistent operational support and care to each Campus Guest Experience Director.
- Conduct two campus visits per month to strengthen alignment, identify opportunities, and reinforce culture.
- Lead check-in meetings with each GE Director every 4–8 weeks to provide clarity & support.
- Serve as a strategic connector between Central and Campus teams, ensuring clear, efficient communication.
- Proactively identify friction points and build solutions that remove barriers for campus leaders.
Asset Management
- Lead Guest Experience asset ordering and coordination for new and permanent campus openings.
- Manage vendor relationships for Connections Tents, Pipe & Drape, and other GE infrastructure.
- Oversee offsite GE storage, ensuring strong stewardship, organization, and readiness.
- Build scalable systems that support future campus expansion.
MUST-HAVES
- Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High capacity for execution in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent note-taking and follow-through habits.
- Relational intelligence with a genuine heart for pastoral care.
- Comfort working within systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and proactively build solutions.
- Strong ownership mindset, driving projects to completion without needing constant oversight.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Strong vendor management or campus launch experience.
- Experience building dashboards or tracking systems that support leadership decision-making.
- Project management experience using tools like Asana or similar platforms.
DAY-TO-DAY
- We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
- There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced. We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
- Yes, we work hard. But we’re good at playing hard, too. We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
